African nation Rwanda's flag carrier RwandAir commenced its services from India with a direct flight from here to capital city Kigali.

The Government approved signing of an Air Services Agreement (ASA) between India and Rwanda to allow the airlines of the two countries to operate services in each other's territory.
In a strategic boost to the bilateral relationship, India and Rwanda has signed three memorandum of understandings (MoU) for the promotion of innovation, easing visa requirements and boosting air connectivity between the two nations.
